My rich professional experience is in guiding tourist groups as well as individuals, school trips, congress or company tours, promotion trips for journalists and tour operators, etc.

Guided Tours in Brno

Brno is the second largest city in the Czech Republic, a town with long history, a centre of universities, science, research, business and culture.

2-hours City Tour main landmarks in the historical centre – Old Town Hall, New Town Hall, St Peter’s Cathedral, Vegetable Market, Freedom Sq., St James’s Church, Moravian Sq. with the model of historical town Brno.

3-hours City Tour – historical centre + Spilberk Castle or another sight - e.g. Labyrinth under Vegetable Market, Ossuary, Capuchin Crypt, Mintmaster’s cellar, some of Brno museums or galleries.

City Tour can be extended and include the Old Brno and Mendel Museum, Exhibition Grounds or Vila Tugendhat (UNESCO site), Vila Stiassny, Jurkovic Vila, etc.

Special Thematic Tours can be prepared in case of interest - focussing on Functionalism, History of Brno Coffees, Traces of Famous Personalities, History of Brno Jews, etc.

Southern Moravia is a region with long history, rich traditions, beautiful nature, lovely wine cellars and high-quality wine. Staying in Brno offers you various possibilities for one day trips in its surrounding, especially but not only within the Southern Moravian Region.

Moravian Karst – explore caves and take a boat trip on the underground river Punkva.

Lednice Valtice Area – enjoy nature and chateaus in the cultivated natural park of the Lichtenstein family (UNESCO).

Mikulov – pitoresque historical town, near Austrian border, once governed by the Dietrichstein noble family, traditional centre of wine growing area.

Austerlitz and Napoleon Battlefield – visit places related to the Battle of Three Emperors in 1805.

Olomouc, Kroměříž – historical Moravian towns, seats of archbishop (UNESCO).

Telč – well preserved Renaissance square and chateau (UNESCO).

Třebíč – old Jewish quarter and Romanesque basilica (UNESCO) and many others.

Guided Wine Tasting can be organized. Most of the best Moravian vineyards are located just south of Brno. You may visit a traditional wine cellar and sample some of local varieties.
